Journey Work & the Law of Attraction: Georgia releasing a Suicidal Depression

Georgia is a woman in her early 40′s. She is widowed and since her husband of many years died, she has been in a deep suicidal depression. The interesting thing about Georgia is that she is trained in counseling psychology and none of what she has learned in these studies has been able to clear this depression.

Georgia had been seeing a psychiatrist for over 4 years once a week. This psychiatrist prescribed anti-depressants and sleeping medication for Georgia and while they have helped Georgia sleep a bit better and feel a little better, she still felt lost and hopeless.

Georgia had the good fortune of being very happy with her husband and with most of her life, before the death of her husband. How she described it was  “Something seemed to happen to me after my husbands’ death, it is more than just grief around his death, something more has happened.

It was at this point that Georgia came to see me for Journey work. She had tried so many things to get well and nothing seemed to help. She found a copy of Brandon Bays book called “The Journey,” and after reading it, knew that this is what had happened to her.

What she realized is that after the death of her husband, when she was feeling so very vulnerable, an old memory from her past got activated and this is what was keeping this depression entrenched. She came in even having an idea of what this memory was but did not know what to do about it.

We began with the Designer Journey, which is a combination of the physical and emotional process. Going down through the layers of emotion took some time as she had so much built up fear and worry about her situation. Finally, she was able to rest in source energy and realise again who she really was.

The memory that she cleared was one that originated in the womb. It has been my experience as a practitioner for several years now, that this is a very common place for negative memories to get started.

It makes sense because it is well known now that whatever the mother is feeling during a pregnancy affects her fetus. And so, if a woman does not want a baby or is feeling a lot of negative emotion during a pregnancy this will absolutely affect the child.

This process with Georgia lasted about 2.5 hrs. Afterward it was as if a new woman was in front of me. In this process the change happened almost instantly. Georgia’s depression of many years had literally lifted. She has never felt the same since.

One week later: Georgia has completed two more processes, which she was able to do on her own, just from knowing her experience with me and using the resources in the book. She is feeling so much better and is absolutely determined to release all old ‘stuff’ that she has stored,  that is preventing her from living the free sweet life she is desiring.

One month later: Georgia is back at work, after having taken a leave of absence, she is exercising regularly and has so much energy now. She reports feeling like a new woman.

6 months later: Georgia has moved, is fully knowledgeable about Journey work now and is faithfully clearing out everything as soon as it appears.

1 year later: Georgia is feeling confident and happy, moving back into the amazing woman that she is. She is looking for a new mate and being happily single in the mean time. She also has taught her children Journey work so that they too can let go of any ‘stuff’ that may be holding them back from their magnificent.

It is so satisfying to teach this work because it is so empowering. I love how empowering this work is, people are left with tools after a session. After doing this process with Georgia, I was then able, in a follow-up conversation, to teach her about the Law of Attraction and how to move her thoughts and emotions each and ever moment into a better feeling place. It is important to clean up the past and it is also important to know how to keep the present cleaned up as well.

It is rare that I see a person for longer than 5 sessions. After this amount of time, I am able to fully teach them what I know so that their work is to then practice what I have taught. This is the way therapy ought to be.

After the Journey process of clearing old ‘stuff,’ I then began to teach Georgia about the Law of Attraction and the importance of becoming aware in the moment of our thoughts and emotions. It is the constant attention to feeling good that is the key to feeling good and being happy.

Sometimes if the negative emotion is so strong or if illness or unhealthy patterns of behaviour has already set in, it is important to do a Journey process to clear it out so that it is easier to focus on the ‘here and now.’

She clearly understood the teachings of the Law of Attraction and how we are all vibrational beings that shows itself in the form of emotion, and in learning how to move up the emotional scale step by step.

Georgia agreed to have her story told with her name and some details changed.
