
Our SELF-TALK or how we speak to ourselves all day, everyday, means EVERYTHING in terms of what we are receiving in our lives. The amount of money we have, the relationships we have, the place we live in, the quality of our friends, the work we do etc. These are all dependant on how we think and most importantly, how we FEEL. This is the nature of the LAW OF ATTRACTION.
This is because each thought we have has an emotional component to it. And the universe is responding to our emotions each and every day because it is a vibrational universe. The law of attraction is the most powerful law in our universe.
It is our emotions that are our indicators of ease or dis-ease in our lives. And so, if we are saying positive uplifting things to ourselves each day, then we will be receiving positive and uplifting things from the universe via the law of attraction. It is LAW and it must be.
Most people, spend most of their time, in negative emotion & negative thinking about one thing or another, it could be worry, anger, fear, disappointment or frustration. If this was not the case, then more people would be joyously happy with their lives and we know that this is just not so.
Most of us have not been taught to see and feel the importance of our emotions. EMOTIONS ARE QUEEN or KING in terms of guidance of what is good for us or not. Many of us are dancing to the tune of what someone else wants, rather than what we want. For example, students are dancing to the tune of teachers; children to the tune of their parents; employees are dancing to the tune of their employers; church going people are dancing to the tune of what their religion says and on and on.
Our work is to make a decision to dance to our own tune, to begin to learn what brings us joy and happiness.
There is nothing that is more important than that we FEEL GOOD. And when we feel consistently good, the universe yields to us all that we want, this is the glory of the Law of Attraction. Nothing is off limits, we can be, do or have anything that we desire, if we understand how to apply this.
Some times we will feel good when we observe something we like and feel bad when we observe something we do not like and so our work is to learn how to feel good no matter what is going on around us.
I know some of you reading this will say “oh thats impossible” and it can seem like that but trust me, we can train ourselves to be very deliberate in what we give our attention to and how we think and feel about it. It does take effort in the beginning though because most of us are not practiced in this.
Now the experience of contrast is what sharpens our knowing of what we do want. For example, if someone is mean to us, we then know that we want to be around people who are kind or if we are not valued in our work, we then know that we want work where we feel valued. So a negative situation can amplify our desires.
If we want the Law of Attraction to work in our favor, then once we know our desires and what we do want, it is our work to give our undivided attention to that in our thoughts and feelings and do it deliberately and consistently. So if we want work where we feel valued, then we begin to create the perfect work for us in our mind and then start to feel how great it feels to have it, even though we do not yet see it in physical form.
When we are feeling good, we will choose foods that are good for our bodies. We will just know what to choose, we would not have to read a book about what our bodies need, we can feel how certain foods feel once we eat them.
When we are feeling good, we will know exactly what to do each and every day to maintain that state, if we tune ourselves and listen. So for example, if I am feeling off for a bit one day, I will notice it immediately and then work my way back into a good feeling place as quickly as possible. I will say to myself “what do I have to do right now, to feel better” and I will always receive an answer from within. Answers will immediately come such as – go for a walk, dance, visit a friend, write an article, call this person, clean out the garage or read this book or whatever.
When we feel good, we are being told by our inner being or higher self, that we are moving towards our happiness and when we feel bad or negative, the opposite is true, we are being told that this thought and emotion is going the wrong way towards our happiness.
Now, if you recognize that you are one who hangs out in worry a lot, then that is the first step. Recognize it and then in the next moment begin to work yourself into a better feeling place.
