Law of Attraction: Why Does My Saying “No” to Something Mean Saying “Yes” to It.

We are vibration, whatever we give our attention to, we are including it in our vibration.  This is the nature of the law of attraction, the most powerful law in the universe.

What is our vibration you ask?  Well our vibration is the emotional base that we are emitting energy.  So if we are happy, we are vibrating happiness and the universe responds in kind by giving us more happy thoughts, that lead to happy manifestations. In other words we attract to us through our emotions. This is how the law of attraction works.

Now, if we are giving attention to negative things, lets say if we are focused on the argument we had with our lover, we actually are attracting more of this to ourselves.  So even though we want a happy, loving relationship, by focusing on the part of the relationship that is not going well, will bring you more of the same. 

In other words, what you are saying ‘no’ to you are actually saying ‘yes’ too.  Strange but true.

Lets look at another example, money for instance.  If we are wanting more money to flow into our lives, but we are focused on our bills,  we are actually saying ‘yes’ to more bills.  Strange but true. 

So what is the answer?  Well we want to always focus on this that we WANT.  So if we want a great relationship, then we want to focus on all  the things in our relationship that are fun and enjoyable.  The more we focus on those things, the more those things flow into our lives.

And likewise, if we want more money, then we must focus on having more money. We must pretend the money is here, and then feel how great it is to have it.  What we focus on expands.

We have so much training on focusing on the negative things in our lives. It is all around us, in our school experience, most of our home experiences, our news etc.  And so this can take a bit of practice in the beginning. 

The work of getting what we want is always to focus on it and then get emotionally lined up to receive it.  We get lined up by taking the emotional journey up into high postive emotions like love, joy, positive expectation, trusting and belief.  A copy of our emotional guidance system is on my blog.

Regularly taking note of how we feel is the key.  And then our goal is always do what feels good.  For everyone it is different. 

For example, I was working on my business today and not feeling at all good about it. It felt like a chore.  So knowing about this work, I quickly decided that I was going to go for a hike instead of working at this time.  I did go for a hike, which felt so good and then later that day doing the work on my business came easily and effortlessly.

So each and every day you want to be paying attention to what you are focused on. And if you are focused on something that you do not want, remember you are actually saying ‘yes’ to it.   So start today by practicing each day and in a matter of 30 days or less, you will actually see quite a shift in your manifestations  and be having a joyful time as well.
