Well it is really wonderful if you have a great product. I do not deny that.  I also notice that even people with great products to sell are not succeeding in the home based business industry. Having said that, for me personally, I could not be in any business where I did not see the products I am offering as outstanding. Having products that are emotional and visible is what I look for.
 
 
Well this is important for sure and once again I notice even people in companies where they have what they would call the best compensation plan ever, are not doing well in this industry of home based businesses.

 
Definitely the management of any company has to be solid and financially stable. I would not recommend anyone get into a company where they did not truly value the leadership of the company and expect them to be there for the long haul.  I have heard of companies literally closing their doors after thousands of people are dependant of them for income with very little notice. I would even say it is important to be inspired by the management of the company that you choose.

So if it is only partially these factors what are the main factors ?
 
The main reason so many people have failed is NOT because of the management or product or compensation plan but because they lacked support, direction and leadership.  Or because they had so many people saying "no" to them that they got discouraged.  Really this reason is about having leadership that knows how to get good quality leads for their downline. 
 
So when you are looking for a company you also want to look for someone who knows how to generate good valuable business prospects for you and with you.  It is really important to look at the leaders and the training they have in place for you.  

1.) What kind of coaching do you have access to in this new company?

In order for people who are really busy and most of us are, they have to have some financial success early so as to assess whether or not this is a good use of their time. I know people who have gone for years without success and it has caused not only great frustration but also great financial concern.

2.) Is there a duplicatable system in place for you to follow ?

Any knowledgeable leader will put a system in place that their people can go through in order to be successful. It has to be the same or similar for everyone so that each person knows what to do and how to do it. This duplicateable system allows for you to access the leverage of others. 

3.) Is your leader aware of the most important factor of mindset? 

Any successful person must have a positive mindset. Without question I think this factor is more crucial than all the others because a leader cannot support you if you are consistently worried, frustrated and concerned. So training on knowing how to keep yourself in good spirits no matter what is happening in your business is critical.

4.) Having Access to a Leader Who Will Do 3 Way Calls With You 

This factor is important because it gives you the confidence and practice of knowing what to say and when to say what that can only come with experience. For a new person and honestly even for experienced people, knowing the order to say things and learning to listen to your prospect are learned skills. Every great business person is still learning how to get better at this part.

5. Does your leader know how to help you get new prospects?

This is critical training because all of us run out of people we know quickly and any business must have a constant flow of new people coming in. 

6. Does your leader know how to make it FUN?

Life is really suppose to be fun and in business this is even more important. Enjoying the people with whom you are learning from is so key in the home based business. You absolutely want to choose a company where the leader is clearly having FUN.

7.) Can this business be done part-time?

85% of all Network Marketers are women and most do it on a part-time basis. So it must be a business that one can do part-time.

Most people in Network Marketing do not know anything about business in general and so often there is a lot of learning that must go on in this area first. Many people treat their business like a lottery ticket hoping that it will be successful.

If you own a business like a bakery you are at that bakery making sure things are going well. You open the doors at the time people expect and you close the doors at closing time. Any business is similar to that. You have to work it in order for it to be successful.

Also many treat their business like a job and most of the time a job is quite different. In a job you get paid for reading and for your meeting times but in your network marketing business you do not. You only get paid for sponsoring people and helping them do well.

2. Someone who knows how to predispose a person to what you have to offer so that when you speak with the prospect they are already prequalified.

In network marketing you want to speak to people who want what you have. You do not want to be in the position of trying to convince someone that you have what they want.

3. Someone who knows that the network marketing company does not make you successful.

Most of the materials of any network marketing company are promotional materials and not marketing materials. Promotional materials are nice but used after the person has seen you as a trusted advisor and not a product pusher. You want your sponsor to be able to teach his distributors how to create real materials that make him look like a trusted advisor in the market place. People will say NO if we have not done your due diligence in this area

4. Someone who is ready to help you move forward so that you can be successful.

In network marketing you want to be always learning from your sponsor. So you want someone who is on top of what is working now

5. Someone who knows how to use technology  

They must know how to do 3 way calls and have a telephone with that capacity. They must know how to do a webinar . They must know how to use facebook and how to use twitter

Prospects who call you are 10 times more interested in your network marketing business than someone who U call

6. Someone who is a leader and can teach you presentation skills.

People will only stay with you if they feel U can help them get to a place that they cannot get to themselves.

7. Someone who knows how to tell stories.

Storytelling is an art form and it moves people more than anything else. There is a way to tell a story to have people come over to your side of the equation.

8. Must have leadership skills, it is the master key in network marketing

Leadership is developing in other people a desire to follow you because you can demonstrate how they can get you to help them get where they want to go. 

Make a commitment to create a list of 100 people who want what you have. Make a commitment to approach all 100 of them

Most people do not know how to generate leads. 

9. Someone who knows it takes time to build any business

10. Someone who understands the importance of having the right tools to keep a positive mindset.

Someone who has confidence and you can feel their confidence as you speak to them. Find someone who is where you want to be and talk to them. What do they believe. Find out how they process information in the brain. What is their physiology ?

11. Someone who knows how to market

Marketing is the art and science of developing in other people the desire to want your product, service and  are predisposed, preinterested and prequalified.

Marketing should be a systematic: step 1-5 and at step 5 they are ready to pay . Marketing should be measurable or else it is not marketing.
